Borana Cabs, hereinafter referred to as the “Company”, accepts bookings and provides transportation services subject to the following Terms & Conditions. By making a booking with us, the customer agrees to comply with and be bound by these terms.
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and confirmation by Borana Cabs.
A booking will be considered confirmed only after the required advance payment has been received and confirmation has been provided by the Company.
The customer must provide correct details including name, mobile number, travel date, pickup location, drop location, passenger count, and other relevant information at the time of booking.
Any change in the booking details must be communicated to the Company in advance and will be subject to vehicle availability.
The Company reserves the right to provide a vehicle of similar category in case the originally booked vehicle becomes unavailable due to operational reasons.
The applicable fare will be communicated to the customer at the time of booking.
An advance payment may be required to confirm the booking.
The remaining payment, if applicable, must be paid according to the agreed booking terms.
Additional charges may apply for extra kilometers, extra hours, tolls, parking, interstate taxes, permits, driver allowances, night charges, or other services not included in the original quotation.
Any additional charges incurred during the trip will be payable by the customer.
In case of cancellation of a confirmed cab, taxi, or tempo traveller booking, the Company must be informed in writing or through the registered booking contact.
Cancellation charges may be applicable as follows:
7 days or more before the journey: Up to 10% of the booking amount may be charged.
6 to 3 days before the journey: Up to 25% of the booking amount may be charged.
2 days before the journey: Up to 50% of the booking amount may be charged.
Within 24 hours of departure: Up to 75% of the booking amount may be charged.
No Show / Cancellation at the time of departure: No refund may be provided.
Cancellation charges may vary depending on the vehicle type, booking duration, travel season, destination, and third-party services involved.
Bookings made during peak seasons, festivals, holidays, weddings, fairs, or special events may have different cancellation terms. The cancellation policy applicable to such bookings will be communicated at the time of confirmation.
If the customer cancels the trip after the journey has started, no refund will generally be provided for unused kilometers, hours, days, hotel stays, transportation services, or other services already reserved or committed by the Company.
Any refund, if applicable, will depend on the recoverable amount from hotels, transport providers, permits, or other third-party service providers.
Requests to change the travel date or itinerary must be communicated as early as possible.
Rescheduling is subject to vehicle availability and operational feasibility.
Additional charges may apply depending on the revised travel date, vehicle category, destination, or season.
During peak season or high-demand periods, rescheduling may not be possible.
The Company will make reasonable efforts to provide the vehicle category selected by the customer.
In exceptional circumstances such as breakdown, accident, maintenance, or other operational issues, the Company may provide another vehicle of the same or similar category.
The Company reserves the right to substitute a vehicle when necessary to ensure continuity of service and passenger safety.
Drivers are appointed by the Company and are responsible for driving the vehicle safely.
Customers are requested to cooperate with the driver and follow reasonable safety instructions.
Customers must not ask the driver to drive at unsafe speeds or violate traffic laws.
The driver may refuse to operate the vehicle in circumstances that may pose a safety risk to passengers, the vehicle, or other road users.
The driver is not responsible for providing personal services unrelated to transportation.
The Company is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, road conditions, weather, vehicle restrictions, government regulations, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Unless specifically included in the booking quotation, the customer may be responsible for:
Toll charges
Parking charges
State/interstate taxes
Entry fees
Permit charges
Driver allowance
Extra kilometer charges
Extra hour charges
Night charges, where applicable
Any other government or third-party charges
The applicable charges will depend on the route, destination, vehicle type, and nature of the booking.
For bookings based on a fixed number of kilometers or hours:
Additional kilometers beyond the agreed limit will be charged at the applicable rate.
Additional hours beyond the agreed booking duration may attract extra charges.
The applicable extra kilometer and extra hour rates will be communicated at the time of booking or mentioned in the booking confirmation.
For airport, railway station, and other transfer services:
Customers are requested to provide accurate pickup and drop-off details.
The Company should be informed of any flight or train schedule changes as soon as possible.
Waiting charges may apply if the customer is delayed beyond the agreed waiting period.
The Company will make reasonable efforts to monitor the provided travel details, but it cannot guarantee responsibility for delays caused by airlines, railways, traffic, weather, or other external circumstances.
For Tempo Traveller and group transportation bookings:
The customer must provide the correct number of passengers at the time of booking.
The vehicle must not be overloaded beyond its legally permitted seating capacity.
Passengers must follow applicable safety regulations during the journey.
Any change in passenger count or vehicle requirement should be communicated before the journey.
Additional vehicles may be required if the number of passengers exceeds the permitted capacity.
Customers and passengers are expected to maintain proper behaviour inside the vehicle.
The following activities are not permitted:
Smoking or use of tobacco inside the vehicle.
Carrying illegal or prohibited substances.
Damaging vehicle interiors or equipment.
Carrying hazardous materials without prior approval.
Any activity that may endanger the driver, passengers, vehicle, or other road users.
If any damage is caused to the vehicle due to negligence or improper use by the customer or passengers, the customer may be responsible for the applicable repair or replacement cost.
Customers are responsible for their personal belongings and luggage during the journey.
Borana Cabs will not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle.
Customers are advised to check the vehicle carefully before leaving it and take all personal belongings with them.
Luggage must be within the safe carrying capacity of the vehicle.
Borana Cabs will make reasonable efforts to provide transportation services as scheduled. However, the Company shall not be responsible for delays or service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:
Heavy traffic
Roadblocks
Weather conditions
Natural disasters
Vehicle breakdowns
Accidents
Government restrictions
Road closures
Strikes
Political disturbances
Emergency situations
Changes in local transportation regulations
In such situations, the Company will make reasonable efforts to arrange an alternative solution wherever practically possible.
For trips involving wildlife parks, national parks, sanctuaries, restricted areas, or other locations requiring permits:
Entry permits, safari bookings, or government charges may be subject to the rules of the respective authority.
Any cancellation or modification of such permits will be governed by the applicable authority's rules.
Borana Cabs will not be responsible for refunds that are denied by third-party authorities or service providers.
Customers may be required to carry valid government-issued identification documents during the journey.
For travel to restricted, protected, or permit-controlled areas, passengers may be required to provide additional documents as prescribed by the relevant authorities.
The customer is responsible for carrying all required travel documents, permits, identification, and other documents applicable to their journey.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation terms applicable to the booking.
Refund eligibility will depend on the cancellation date, booking type, vehicle category, and services already committed or used.
Amounts paid to third-party service providers may be non-refundable.
Any applicable bank, payment gateway, transaction, or processing charges may be deducted from the refundable amount.
Refunds will generally be made to the original payment method or to the person who made the payment.
The refund processing time may vary depending on the payment method and banking procedures.
Some services associated with a trip may involve third-party providers, including hotels, activities, permits, guides, airlines, railways, or other transportation providers.
The terms, cancellation rules, and refund policies of such third-party providers may apply separately. Borana Cabs will not be responsible for losses or refunds arising from the failure, cancellation, or policy of a third-party provider.
All passengers must comply with applicable traffic laws, government regulations, and safety requirements during the journey.
The Company reserves the right to discontinue a journey if the customer's conduct creates a serious safety, legal, or operational concern.
Borana Cabs employees or agents will never ask customers to share confidential banking information such as ATM/debit/credit card PIN, CVV, OTP, net banking password, UPI PIN, or other sensitive financial credentials.
Our employees or representatives will also never ask customers to:
Transfer money to an unrelated personal bank account.
Install remote-access applications such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer for payment purposes.
Share OTPs, passwords, UPI PINs, CVV, or banking login details.
Make payments through unauthorized or suspicious links.
Customers are advised to make payments only through the official payment methods communicated by Borana Cabs.
In case a customer voluntarily shares confidential financial information, installs unauthorized software, or transfers money to a fraudulent or unauthorized account, Borana Cabs will not be responsible for any resulting financial loss.
Borana Cabs reserves the right to modify the applicable fare, vehicle, route, or service conditions where required due to changes in government regulations, fuel prices, taxes, permits, operational requirements, or other circumstances.
Any significant changes affecting a confirmed booking will be communicated to the customer wherever reasonably possible.
By booking or using our Cab, Taxi, Tempo Traveller, Airport Transfer, Local Sightseeing, Outstation Travel, or other transportation services, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
